Nina Artists in the AFA Permanent Collection
In 2024 the Alberta Foundation for the Arts acquired two pieces from artists in our collective, Aaron Harvey and Carrie Wheeler. This brings to total number of Nina artists include in the collection up to five!
Fashion Show & Patrons Lunch
The generosity of our patrons makes it possible for us to support new artist-led initiatives like our budding fashion program, so we thought it would be fitting to give them the first look at the latest creations with a fashion show!
![Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Aba Garbrah’s book launch and exhibition on Thursday! Aba worked on her autobiography for nearly three years and we are so happy for her to finally share it with the world. Aba says “thank you everyone for being there for me, I am forever grateful for all of you.”
You can get a copy of ‘Aba’s True Story’ plus one of her popular Wild Rose pins for just $30 for a limited time in our gift shop and online store (link in bio).
Note: we are currently only offering in-store pickup for orders from our online store. If you aren’t able to pick up your purchase you can email janice@thenina.ca or leave a note on your order to arrange delivery within Edmonton (additional fee may apply).
