About The Artist
Dean Olesky creates exuberant line drawings and watercolours that bring together figurative imagery of faces and places. Objects and characters that seem hidden at first can be found throughout Dean’s drawings after careful examination. With abstract mark making, Dean is constantly developing his practice by exploring scale, colour, and line.
Dean’s work has been featured in many exhibitions, including on a billboard in Edmonton as part of YEG Canvas, and in Calgary’s SPARK Disability Arts Festival.
