Ken Hayward Greeting Card Set 1

In stock

Set of four different greeting cards featuring some of Ken Hayward’s most popular paintings.

Includes four white paper envelopes.

Ken Hayward was a practicing artist at the Nina for fifteen years. He loved to paint and loved his art. Influenced by the paintings of distant relative AY Jackson that hung in his childhood home, his work displays a clear connection to the Canadian landscape and the Group of Seven. As a senior artist at the Nina, his work has been exhibited widely and is in a number of private collections.

Ken lived with his sister in Edmonton for the last 25 years and she said his art kept him alive in the final years of his life, "it's the only thing he lives for, is his art. He loves it".

Ken was awarded as the Stantec Artist of the Year in 2018 and passed away early that year. His warmth and talent are dearly missed in the Nina's studios, but his personality lives on through his paintings.
