About The Artist
Tim Crnkovic is a multidisciplinary artist who has distinct styles in every medium he works with. As a printmaker, he uses intricate lines to create abstract grid-like images.
He carefully layers colours with specific intention and is process-driven in his practice. As a painter, Tim has a more naturalistic approach. He depicts still life and animals and reinterprets found imagery in his unique style.
Tim has grown tremendously as an artist since joining the Nina Collective in 2014, creating increasingly interesting work and refining his skills. His work has been included in numerous group shows throughout Edmonton and internationally. In 2019, a collection of Tim’s prints was shown in a joint exhibition at Mile Zero Dance Studio’s Spazio Performativo. His art has also been selected by the Nina’s artistic staff for dual exhibition in the Works Art and Design Festival in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, Tim received the Dentons CREATE Award. In 2025, Tim won the Breycon Artist of the Year award. His art can also be found on pillows and face masks in the Nina’s online store.
