Relief print by Cheryl Anhel
12 x 12 inches
Cheryl has been making art at the Nina for over 10 years. She initially worked with acrylic to create abstract paintings, often employing the circle motif. In recent years, she has transitioned in to the print studio where she enjoys the peaceful environment. In the studio, Cheryl says she “gets in the zone” while carving linoleum for her linocuts. She uses short strokes to create abstract images with up to three colours.
Cheryl’s work has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions. The process of printmaking brings Cheryl joy, and she likes knowing that the finished product makes other people happy.
