About The Artist
Julianna Yee is a successful printmaker, taking her inspiration from nature. Juliana’s monoprint plates become quite sculptural with thick layers of brilliant colour. The finished plates are often artworks in themselves. Becuae of their density, she is often able to pull multiple prints from a single plate. In clay, her preference is animal sculptures. Julianna is intensely focused as she creates her artwork. All pieces are given a name, as in her wolf sculpture, “Mr. Worland”.
