Abstract Rose Sculpture by Ty Bennett

Ty Bennett thinks of himself as an outside thinker. He works primarily in the ceramics studio, but also draws in the painting studio and at home.
He creates imaginative sculptures and drawings that express his sense of humor and whatever he feels needs to be brought to life or death – or the spaces in between. He works with fun shapes, bright colour and dark subject matter. Ty is connected to his materials and focuses on detail and craftsmanship resulting in a body of work that is both whimsical and otherworldly.
