About this artist
Kelsey loves the performing and visual arts. She has been travelling to the Nina every week from Spruce Grove since 2006. She has acted in many plays within the centre and loves to sing, even while working in the studio.
Kelsey’s studio art focus is in the textile and fabric arts. She has produced many pillows, pillow coverings, and blankets. She loves to share her projects with family and friends.
Kelsey loves to make gifts for her family, such as a quilt for her nephew. She is generous and dedicated in her work, and expresses the qualities of a true textile artist; creativity, planning and patience. In her current work she is incorporating her old jewelry and accessories into mixed media fabric collages and sculptures.
