Our annual Patrons Luncheon is an opportunity for artists to meet our supporters, share their work, and build relationships. This year we celebrated a record number of donors to our Patron Program. Their contributions help us keep our membership fee as low as possible and waive it for artists who find it a barrier to participation, and we are deeply grateful for their support.
The highlight of this year’s event was our first ever fashion show, which came about thanks to Nina artist and visionary Alana Gersky. Several artists have been exploring fashion design in our fabric studio and debuted their creations on the runway for the first time.
Thank you to ATB for supporting this event, to the Alberta Avenue Community Centre for the use of their space, to all the artists who made the fashion show a possible, to DJ Effy for the music, and of course, to all our incredible patrons!
