Damanjit Grewal started drawing trees and people at a young age. Since joining the Nina Collective ten years ago, she has been able to experiment with new art forms and grow her practice to include working with clay, printmaking, and glass. She also participated in the Nina’s dance program and continues to dance at ACT. These days, Damanjit is usually found in the paint study working with acrylic to create abstract images full of movement and pattern.
Damanjit has displayed her work at the Nina’s Stollery Gallery, as well as other venues throughout Edmonton. In 2017, her work was featured in a group show at la Galerie Cité and an abstract exhibition in the Alcove Gallery at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
